SanRex-India continues to innovate new power semiconductors for the demanding requirements of power electronics applications by expanding the portfolio of thyristor modules. The company has recently introduced MKKT Series single phase Thyristor Modules under new logo `SunRex’ with following features: heat transfer through aluminium oxide; ceramic isolated metal base plate; and hard soldered joints for high reliability. These thyristor modules are available in 26 A, 41 A, 56 A, 95 A, 105 A, 162 A, 250 A, 330 A, 450 A, and 500 A with blocking peak inverse voltage up to 1800 V. All modules are equivalent to and directly interchangeable against thyristors of EUPAC-Germany-TT series, IR-Italy IRKT series, SEMIKRON Germany SKKT series, Mitsubishi – Japan TR-DZ series, Lxys – Germany MCC series, and are widely used in various applications in loco rectifier panels, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, speed regulators, AC drives/inverters, DC drives/converters in cement, paper, CNC, machine tools/engineering, fertilizers and petrochemical, synthetic, yarn, textiles, sugar, bearing shipping and docks, material handling, metal processing (rolling mills, foundries, furnaces, etc), telephone exchanges, aerospace, automobiles, plastic processing industries, etc. A majority of the thyristor modules is available ex-stock (or within short delivery time) against rupee payment at very competitive prices.
