Thermoplastic cable glands
Prism introduces thermoplastic cable glands for flexible cables. These are made of polyamide for strain relief and protection against ingress of liquids, dust, lint, fumes, etc. (Protection: IP 68). These are used on limit switches, motor terminal boxes, push button stations, multi pin connectors, outdoor, luminaries, weather proof enclosures, sump pumps; control panels, etc. Features: cap nut provides griping surface, which are dimensioned, for spanners. They also have vibration resistance assembly. Neoprene seal provides hermetic sealing against ingress of liquids, dust, etc (protection: IP 68). Collet type design provides optimum strain relief and an able clamping range to accommodate multi-sized cables. Lock nut (optional) is available for mounting on control panels. Suitable temperature range: 30?C to 90?C for continuous and up to 150?C for intermittent application.
