Nippon Technologies offers PTX100, an excellent and cost-effective two wire temperature transmitter. The device generates 4-20 mA current signal proportional to the temperature. The design is available in head mounting or DIN rail housing. The transmitter operates on loop power supply of 10 V to 36 V DC. It accepts RTD (Pt-100) or thermocouple inputs. The temperature range can be set from Zero/Span user adjustable trimmers. Sensor open condition is fail safe. Reverse polarity protection is done by Zener clamps. The housing is shock-proof and hermetically sealed. PTX100 is most suitable for recorders, panel indicators DCS, SCADA, data acquisitions and computers
