The HICT-1002 is specifically designed to detect methane or carbon monoxide in telecommunication "vaults". Features: hydrogen or propane detection; two separate sensors with separate alarm LEDs; 5-year limited warranty; 4-year calibration intervals; and each detector covers 10,000 cubic feet. Specifications: input power – 12 V to 48 V DC; power usage – 4.0 Watts at no alarm state, 6.0 Watts at alarm state; alarm indicators – dry contact SPDT (5 A, 250 V) with Red and Yellow LEDs on enclosure; separate supervisory relays to verify presence of input power; gas detected – methane and carbon monoxide; alarm setting – 20% LEL of methane and 100 ppm of carbon monoxide; calibration interval – 4 years; and calibration level and purpose of detection – Model 1002 is a Carbon Monoxide and combustible gas detector calibrated as an emergency alarm. The combustible gases include methane, propane and hydrogen. It is calibrated at 100 ppm of carbon monoxide and 15% LEL of methane (7,500 ppm). It will also alarm at 2,200 ppm
