VIP Gold Submersible Pump offers Submersible Pumping Sets. These are efficient, convenient and economical for lifting clear, cold, non-corrosive water, used in irrigation, urban and rural drinking water supply, pressure boosting system, industrial plants, cooling water systems air conditioning systems, fountains, sea water desalination works, mining dewatering, domestic water supply and for high rise building. Water passages of impellers and stage casings are hand finished to minimise friction losses. The casing of radial flow impeller pumps are clamped together by flat steel hook bolts whereas that of mixed flow impeller pumps by studs. VIP gold submersible motor is suitable for working under water. It is filled with drinking water. Which acts both as a coolant and as a lubricant. Motor design is of squirrel cage induction type and is wound with special PVC/poly insulated winding wire. The diaphragm beneath the thrust bearing compensates the overpressure, which arises as a result of the thermal expansion of the fill water the temperature of winding rises.

  • The sets consist of a pump portion and a motor portion, directly coupled by placing pump above motor
  • The pump is of sectional design which permits suitable construction for variable head requirement of individual customers
  • These are single or multistage pumps with radial or mixed flow impellers – radial denotes the water enter from the impeller at right angle to pump shaft, and mixed flow denotes the water enter from the impellers at oblique angel to the pump shaft – each impeller is dynamically balanced and it is designed for high hydraulic efficiency at its discharge level. It is housed in matching stage casing
