Indo Anushka offers “Mainteno†Y-type/T-type Strainers. Conventional strainers available in the market, Y-type/T-type (basket strainers also in T-type) are installed before equipment on supply lines of fluid, gas, steam, etc., and are used for removing (straining) solid particles from the fluid. All strainers gradually get choked due to the straining of the solid particles and collection of the same inside or before the screen. All traditional strainers (Y-/T-type including basket type) are then required to be isolated, opened and cleaned. Choking of these strainers, which is a repeatable ongoing process, therefore involves shutdown, investment of time or investment in duplex strainers or losses by opening of bypass in case of steam trap modules. Mainteno Y-type and T-type strainers with in-built blowdown valves and facility of online cleaning actually take care of all above challenges.
- Blowdown in the direction of the flow enables all collected solid particles to be blownout by opening the blowdown valve online
- Unique feature of flow from inside to outside the screen cylinder of T-type strainers not only helps to collect the solid particles but also helps to blowdown the collected solid particles with the help of the flow itself
- T-type strainers are made by rigidly following the ratios of screening area to flow area as 4 which is as per international standards
