These are manufactured in carbon steel material as standard, either out of bar stock or forging. The raw material is precision turned using sophisticated CNC machines. The quality assurance process ensures high quality standards providing a longer life. Straight fittings are supplied with zinc chrome free trivalent plating as standard which is acceptable all over the world. Straight fittings come in different types: straight union, straight bulkhead, straight male stud BSP parallel, straight male stud metric parallel and straight male stud BSPT NPT taper. Straight unions allow quick and convenient connection and disconnection of pipes. Straight fittings are made in two series to accommodate all types of service requirements and system characteristics – medium pressure ratings (series L) and heavy/ high pressure ratings (series S). They are produced to DIN standard 2353. Straight fittings are manufactured in different sizes with tube outer diameter ranging from 6 mm to 42 mm. Weight of straight fittings range from 2.5 to 173 kg/100 pieces. Nominal working pressure varies from 100 kg/cm² to 630 kg/cm². Standard straight fittings are supplied ex-stock and can be dispatched within 24 hours.
