Model 4171-DT Tester is for testing the comparative stiffness of flexible tubing, light-gauge wire, small-dimension parts, and flat materials. It measures the force required to bend a wide variety of materials and dimensional products under controlled, repeatable conditions. Results can appear on a digital display and can be equated to stiffness, resilience, flexibility, or pliability, depending on the nature of the material and the purpose of the test. The unit accommodates single or multi-lumen tubing with oval, polygonal, or asymmetrical cross sections and ODs to 0.62".
