Punjab Tubes Precision Steel Tubes is engaged in manufacturing high precision Steel Tubes. These are available in various shapes like: round ERW precision steel tubes; square/rectangular steel tubes; elliptical steel tubes (Section 57); oval steel tubes; and decorative steel tubes. High precision ERW steel tubes used widely in the bicycle, automobile, transformers and furniture industries. The company has latest modern tube mill with hi-frequency welding generator and all allied equipments to manufacture round, square, rectangular and elliptical tubings with sizes ranging from1/2" outer dia (12.70 mm) to 2-1/2" outer dia (63.50 mm) with thickness between .35 mm to 3.25 mm. The manufacturing process is completely automatic and has an optimum capacity to produce 15000 metric tonnes per annum. The company is using widely accepted high frequency induction resistance welding process under which the current is made to flow through contract resistance to fuse the metals that are held firming together by mechanical pressure. This process has many advantages like: possible to manufacture high polished tubes without any mark scratches or distortion on the surface which is inherent with other manufacturing process using surface contacts; better welding is assured because the stitching effect which is inherent with a lower frequency welding is eliminated; steel tubes manufactured by this process are most suitable for subsequent processing; and with the high welding speed, heating time is considerably reduced, thus removing the risk of the structure of the metal undergoing basic structural changes. The company also manufactures decorative tubes suitable for gates, grills, stair-case railings and different kinds of innovative items like fancy furniture, table lamps, candle stands, door handles, etc.
