Steam Traps

Pennant Engineering offers Steam Traps. It is inverted bucket type. It is designed for draining condensate from all types of low and medium pressure steam heating and process equipment. It is the optimum choice for energy conscious users. It effectively cuts steam losses, while draining the system perfectly. It offers the user several benefits over other equivalent types: the intermittent (open-close) operating characteristic enables easy checking for malfunction/ leakage; these traps are not affected by water hammer; and condensate from the trap can be piped directly to an elevated tank - the traps operate against a high level of back-pressure. All internals are stainless steel. Available connections are female screwed/ socket weld/ flanged ends. Typical applications include process equipment like heat exchangers, jacketed vessels, and driers.
