Spring Motor Operated Tank Gauge
Levcon spring motor operated tank gauges are ideally suitable for liquid level measurement in non-pressurized bulk storage tanks, underground tanks, spherical tanks, etc. The spring motor tank gauge is a float actuated instrument and it measures changes in liquid level as a function of float travel. A light float (diameter 400 mm) is hung from a strong braided flexible measuring wire rope stored on a grooved drum. The drum winds up or releases the measuring wire rope with rise or fall of float respectively. The spring, called the "Constant Force Spring" maintains a constant tension in the measuring wire rope. The rotation of the spring (coupled to the drum) which also moves a dial and a counter type display. This display is in mm and have accuracy of ± 2 mm. Both side and top mounted models are available
