Spring Fatigue & Load-Deflection Testing Machine

AG Measurematics (Material Testing Machines Group) offers a Spring Fatigue and Load-Deflection Testing Machine, an addition to its already wide range of material testing machines. Users of this machine can subject a spring to load-deflection testing before and after a predefined displacement controlled fatigue testing for large number of cycles. These machines have facility of both computerised load deflection testing and motorised cam operated fatigue testing with sinusoidal fatigue stroke. Springs of up to 400 mm diameter and up to 500 mm height can be subjected to fatigue stroke of up to 120 mm peak-to-peak at 150 strokes per minute. Machines are available up to load capacity of six tonnes. Spring under test can also be subjected to computer controlled load-deflection test up to the rated load capacity to determine its free height, load at static height and height at static load, before as well as after every predefined fatigue cycles and, finally, also after completion of the fatigue test. Specially designed application software allows the test data to be stored in user named data files and generation of test report for each tested spring. To improve maximum utilisation of their test facility, the company’s engineers and technicians work with users’ operating staff during installation and commissioning and then train them in proper operation and maintenance of the machine.
