AB systems n equipments offers a spot welding processor. This is designed for the pedal operated spot welding machine. It is a fully solid state device with no moving parts like relays and mechanical contact breakers and does three important functions namely timer; weld energy control and contact breaker. The main benefits are: the energy controller enables you to set precise current and hence clean dent free and consistent spot joints with almost 15/20% power saving; it is possible to spot weld thin metals; 0.3 + 0.3 mm, to thick metals, 2.5 + 2.5 mm or more, on one machine; as it has no moving parts, and it is very reliable and long lasting. Unlike the mechanical contact breaker and timer, which require frequent change; and reduces internal wiring cost. The processor can be fitted on any pedal operated spot welding machine; even old machines working with mechanical contact breaker, etc; it is very economically priced and so OEMs can save on cost and increase reliability of their spot or butt welding machines by installing the processor. Models with single phase, 230 V AC and 2 phase, 415/440 V AC input with up to 30 kVA capacity are available.
