It has spare capacity for manufacturing precision press tools, jigs and fixtures and precision machined light engineering components. Tool elements/components are made by skilled staff on jig-milling (Hauser-Swiss-3-micron accuracy), jig grinding (Hauser-Swiss-1-micron accuracy), profile grinding (Wasino-Japan-5-micron accuracy), and other NC milling/turning machines. HMT has excellent facilities of manufacturing turned components (dia-350micron to 12000-micron) on sliding head automats. Ample spare capacity is also available for manufacturing carbide tipped collets, solid carbide flat drills and special turning tools for automatic lathes, on imported high accuracy machines.
