AICON 3D Systems offers for all operators in the field of piping an easy-going, convincing quality control: the new software platform BendingStudio together with the optical 3D measuring system MoveInspect HR and the handheld MI.Probe. The ideal solution for tactile pipe measurement. The software platform BendingStudio connects all data and processes around the production of bended parts. Thus, manufacturers are able to monitor, quantify, visualize and document all changes in the various process steps. MoveInspect HR is easy to handle, portable, flexible and highly reliable. The system works with constant process reliability, also under difficult conditions on production floor with dirt, dust or vibrations. BendingStudio with MoveInspect HR is applicable for pipes from 150 mm diameter. The software platform is compatible with all existing MoveInspect HR configurations. The measuring system can be connected to the customer’s data base. Since the beginning of 2013, BendingStudio and MoveInspect HR are successfully implemented at customer’s site for the first time. The system is in daily use in technical inspection. Measuring tasks are the acquisition of data regarding the main dimensions of the tube, ovality of the curve, torsion angles as well as bending radius and bending angles. Besides tube measurement, other measuring tasks are possible with BendingStudio and MoveInspect HR, e.g., measurement of profiles and free-form bended tubes.
