Smart Valves For Temperature Control
Qu-Con zero leakage smart valves have intelligent feedback electronic valve positioner interface card module capable of constantly giving feedback signals from valve to PID controllers. The basic design for this high temperature smart control valve comes from Lukas S,p.a., and has been upgraded with American KZ-2 friction free universal reusable gland packing technology. These valves have negligible stem friction, dead band and backlash hence, even a slightest change in control signals are immediately converted into stem movement giving very accurate valve positioning for the minutest change in feedback signals. This accurate valve positioning in proportion to signals received in proportion to temperature change prevents position overshoots normally found in other control valves and hence control temperature very accurately. The valves are basically of globe type design and are made in WCB cast carbon steel ASTM A216 body and have stainless steel 304 trim material. These valves are offered in sizes from 25 to 150 mm, with On-Off as well as linear proportionate characteristics. The valves are offered in leakage class V/VI and pressure class #150 and # 300. The motorised control valves accept 4-20 mA signal from PT-100 RTD sensors and are controlled by self tuned PID controllers of Taiwan origin having fuzzy logic. The feedback signals from valves are fed to PID controller through an electronic valve positioner interface card module. These valves use a unique, universal, non asbestos, self moulded, self lubricated gland packing, KZ-2, imported from USA. KZ-2 gland packing contains avionic super tetra dust repellant, moisture repellant high speed, high load avionics grease, which electro-statically bonds itself with the stem and provide long lasting friction free lubrication capable of dry running. These valves carry 24-month warrantee for materials as well as operational performance.
