Photon Controls (India) offers a wide range of Slot Sensors. The unit works on latest modulated infrared beam principal and has transmitter and receiver along with built-in amplifier in ABS moulded housing with fix pre-wired cable. It works on 5 V DC or 10 to 24 V DC giving PNP/NPN transistor output which can take current up to 200 mA and can drive a relay. The standard gaps available are 3, 5, 20, 50, 120, 200 mm and depth is 45 mm. This can be made operation on 220 V AC with suitable power pack. The switch frequency can be up to 5 kHz. The unit has LED as status indicator. Typical applications are length counting, web grinding, label sensing, RPM counting, feeders in paper, chemicals, SPMs, food, packaging, textile industries, etc.
