Slope Sensor Prevents False Alarm
Helbako Elektronikbaugruppen, Germany, has improved on its theft alarm units especially for heavy vehicles with a slope sensor. The sensor in contrast to conventional units reacts to angle changes of the vehicle, can recognise the theft of individual tyres as well as attempted lifting of the vehicle by releasing an alarm after a particular change in the angular position. A significant novelty is that the sensor can differentiate between a harmless daily action and a strong one on the vehicle.
