Span Met Tech Enterprises offers Span shell core shooters, Model CSS 300 EH. These are heavy-duty machines built as per machine tool standards. The carriage moves on hardened ground, and hard chrome plated guide bars in bronze bushes. Heater plates are made from graded cast iron. Ejection is provided on both the halves of core box. The sand magazine is freely adjustable. Auto sand feed is provided. Rotation arrangement for the core shooter CSS 300 EH machine is by a rack and pinion gearbox operated by a pneumatic cylinder. For core shooter CSS 400/CSD 600 machines chain drive is employed with gearbox and brake motor. Loose piece pull outs from front, top and rear can be provided. The panel has programmable logic controller with full auto cycle control. Manual override is provided. Specifications: core box mounting – 300 x 400 mm, plates – 300 x 600 mm; maximum opening between core box mounting plates – 500 mm; sand magazine capacity – 30 kg; maximum core box weight – 250 kg; air consumption – 20 cfm (34 cu.mtr/hr); heater rating – 7.5 kW for 300 x 400 mm, 10 kW for 300 x 600 mm; operating pressure – 5-6 kg/cm2; and floor space – 2800 x 1100 mm.
