SensAlert Plus Test-On-Demand Cell
Test-On-Demand (TOD) is a feature that allows system performance to be routinely verified. The SensAlertPlus TOD cell is a small gas generator located within the sensor head and is an optional feature for use with SensAlertPlus Cl2 or H2S sensors. When activated, the TOD generator introduces a small amount of gas to the sensor for verification of sensor response. This is intended to be a "bump" test and not a replacement for the recommended calibration procedures. TOD tests may be activated via the user interface or programmed to set intervals or day and time. In addition to test frequency and schedule, this feature allows for adjustments in gas intensity and output indicators. If a sensor fails a TOD test, an alarm indication can be assigned to a relay.
