The LSF Sensofoil sealed linear motion sensor without electrical contact is a very unusual technology. On a polyester-foil, a resistance track in a very special process is printed. It is hermetically sealed (IP67). Whenever there is a force applied, a signal gives the relative position compared to the total travel. It is also possible to apply simultaneously force on several places of the track. In this case, the distance between 2 points can be easily calculated. The force can be applied with any material (plastic, metal, ceramic). The LSF-Kits, type RBB a spring-loaded plastic wiper for easy assembly. Nevertheless, for the life the right wiper pressure, even surface, proper guidance is very important. The track is sealed and fully protected. It is easy to clean and fully flexible (recommended for use only after application DVD/LSL/LSF has been studied – Video on Demand).
