Spiral Bevel Transmissions offers versatile mechanical Screw Jacks with lift precise positioning for all kinds of loads from 0.5-tonne to 250-tonne capacity. These upright/inverted/cubic precision jacks operate at full capacity whether the load is tensile or compression. MWJ Series single lead screw is self locking and slow speed movements, while double lead screw series jacks offer more speed. Heat treated alloy steel worm shaft, aluminium worm gears and standard taper roller or ball bearing provide more stability and reliability for the jacks. Optional anti backlash feature compensates for thread assuring minimum play between lifting screw and worm gear for smooth and precise operation. Jacks equipped with the anti backlash feature are rated at full capacity under static conditions.
