Safety Valves

Atos S.p.a, Indian Liaison Office, offers a range of Safety Valves. Atos FC and FI safety valves supply an electrical on-off output to detect the position of the spool or poppet of the valve and thus its hydraulic status. Main versions are: /FC with mechanical microswitch, /FI with inductive proximity sensor. These are available on direct or pilot operated valves in subplate or cartridge executions. They are usually used to cut off, in case of emergency or safety situation, the line of hydraulic power to the actuators; the output signal therefore means “intercepted line” or “not intercepted line”. Classic example of application: on vertical and horizontal presses the safety valves are used to shut off the fluid energy to one or more actuators as a consequence of the opening of a mechanical safety device (“gate”) or as a consequence of an “emergency stop” command. Atos valves with these safety options are TÜV certified to EN201, EN422, EN693, EN982 and EN12622.
