Instrumentation Ltd offers a range of Safety Relief Valves. Established by Government of India in 1964 at Kota as an indigenous source for total C&I packages, the Palakkad unit of Instrumentation Ltd was set up in year 1974 for manufacture of final control elements. The company has completed 25 years of highly fruitful and successful collaboration with Yamatake Honeywell, and has supplied more than 300,000 valves to various core sector industries. Further to being market leader in India, the company has contributed significantly to the export market, with supplies to erstwhile USSR, Romania, Hungary, Saudi Arabia, Zambia, Malta, Egypt, Bangladesh, Singapore, Malaysia, etc.

  • Types – full bore, full lift valve with discharge coefficient of 0.974
  • Sizes – ½ inch x 1 inch to 8 inches x 10 inches
  • End connections – screwed or flanged
  • Design code – asme section-1, viii and api 526
  • Set pressure range – 0.7 kg/sq.cm to 422 kg/ sq.cm 0.7 kg/sq.cm to 30 kg/sq.cm for section i valves
  • Material body – carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, special materials
  • Trim – ss-316, ss-316 stellited, 17-4 ph, special materials
  • Other features – balancing bellows, plain or packed lever, open or closed bonnet, etc
  • Special certification – IBR/ISPESL (Italian statutory authority).
