Rimtec offers Gerwah direct drive and indirect torque limiting safety couplings. They disengage highly dynamic drives within 2 to 4 msecs of an overload signal, and then automatically re-engage at the precise angular position. These couplings also offer protection for stand-alone CNC milling, turning, and boring machines.
