Sandeep Metalcraft offers Safe & Arming Mechanism. This mechanism is used in electronic fuze for medium caliber 40mm anti-aircraft ammunition and it provides mechanical safety to ammunition, in addition to electronic safety. It is miniature in size, the gear pinion and sector gear assembly is housed in between a numbers of brass plates having suitable recesses. The set back forces allows gear train to function which provides required delay in arming of the fuze for muzzle and troop safety.
