Rotary Shears
Rotary Shears are used for automatic cutting of splitted hot ends (front and rear). They are also used in cooling beds to cut fixed length of finished bars. Their size ranges from 300 mm PCD to 500 mm PCD and cutting capacity is up to 50 sq. mm. Rotary shears operate at speed of up to 12 metres/second. They can be fixed and swivelling type with pneumatic cylinder fitted for body swivel and shifting pipes. The power requirement is 5 HP to 20 HP. The cutting blades are made up of alloy steel duly heat treated and grounded.
