Rope Laying Machine - Model PRS-0610/3
Pyramid Industries, Ahmedabad, offers rope-laying machine (Model PRS-0610/3) capable of producing coiled ropes of 6-10 mm diameter from all types of natural and synthetic fibre yarn in one continuous operation. The machine is fed directly by extrusion bobbins, say, by untwist yarn and or by pre-twisted, or plied yarn from a ply-yarn machine or it can also use yarn from the in-flow ply yarn machine. The pay-off section consists of three cradles each cradle consisting of 18 standard pay-off bobbins of size (max) - 250 mm (diameter) x 305 mm (length) (specific sizes of the pay-off bobbin can be accommodated to meet the non-standard requirements). The three cradles include register plate, forming die bracket, bobbin tensioner brake device, and a bobbin-doffing device. The machine is fed by untwisted extrusion bobbin of yarn directly. The take-up section includes take-up cradles with built?in gearbox, capstan rollers, and take-up bobbin of size 380 mm (diameter) x 355 mm (length). The machine is driven by 15 hp DC motor (11.2 kW). Synchronous drive between these two sections (pay-off and take-up) is by means of heavy-duty universal joint coupling. A DC control panel is also supplied along with the machine.
