Whirled Centrifugals Pvt Ltd, Ahmedabad, manufactures reversing filter bag centrifuges that overcome the disadvantages of peeler centrifuges. This product has a filter cloth that is fixed in such a way that it comes out of the basket, along with the dried-cake when pushed out by back plate. These centrifuges offer advantages such as: (1) cake is discharged completely resulting in fresh filter cloth for each cycle. The cloth can even be washed each cycle if required before next feeding. (2) The cake is discharged without scrapping (or even without manual handling), so the crystal structure remains intact. (3) The complete centrifuge can be operated in a closed, vapour tight or N2-blanketted atmosphere inside. (4) A fully auto cycle operation is possible with auto-control panel.
