The new PCI colour framegrabber PC-EYE2 from Eltec makes professional colour-based image processing possible at reasonable cost. It contains all important features for industrial, medical or measurement applications. The framegrabber is capable of processing external trigger signals and the digitising of the incoming video signal can be synchronised to the camera clock with an external clock input. Additionally, each version -can be equipped with a colour-encoding look up table module using a piggyback module which supplies a real time colour classification on the incoming 24-bit colour data. This means that Coloured objects can be separated on the fly during image acquisition.
