Moonlight Engineering Company (MEC) manufactures Neogi brand battery operated Pump and Motor for fuel transfer, Model SP035. Moonlight Engineering Company, a partnership enterprise, established in the year 1986, started manufacturing of various spare parts of fuel dispensing pumps of all makes and models available in India. The company’s aim is to develop innovative products using indigenous technology and materials to compete internationally; and in this venture, it has already innovated few foreign substitutes that have been proved to be of standard quality and saving foreign exchange as well. Requisite quality checks are carried out at each stage of product development processes at various manufacturing stages to ensure higher quality-standards. The company has sufficient testing facilities to conduct all necessary tests. It has taken the initiative in operating a government project, “Lean Manufacturing Competitiveness Scheme”, and formed a mini cluster. The company has developed several new devices over the years, which includes the register unit working mechanically as well as electronically; and an auto cut off nozzle assembly, which has been appreciated by all oil companies. Other remarkable products are: mobile mini dispensing pump, meter for volumetric measurement (flow meter), PV valve (ATEX certified, TUV NORD CERT, GmbH), spares for dispensing pump and camlock coupling and most of the products are patented in India. The latest innovation is manufacturing of equipment for converting waste plastic to fuel oil.
