Hindustan Nylons has developed a manufacturing line of PTFE ram extruded rods. The size range is 6 mm diameter onwards up to 50 mm diameter in 900 mm, 1000 mm, 1500 mm and 2000 mm length. Specific diameter and lengths are also available as per customers request. The diameter of rod is maintained consistent throughout the length to machine it on auto lathes with collets. The quality of rods with physical properties is tested at fullfledge in house laboratory. The rods are mainly supplied to electronic, connector industries and computer hardware manufacturers. The company has also developed manufacturing of PTFE sheets of 1000 mm x 1000 mm area in thickness 1.5 mm and above.
