Viral Controls P Ltd has introduced process/temperature instrument, which is capable of checking out most of the calibrations. With a high reliability factor, the instrument handles the widest operating voltage range: 70?300 V, 40?400Hz AC and 100?420 V DC. All the input terminals (T/C, RTD, mA, V and Excitation 24 V) are fault protected indefinitely up to 250 V AC/DC and each unit is subjected to a failure-free 168 hours burn-in. It achieves an accuracy of four-digit linearisation and relative accuracy of 0.03 per cent. The sub-surface die heated Zener reference (20PPM/1Khr) and 10PPM/degree Celsius gain resistors provide unmatched stability with respect to time and temperature. The instrument exhibits stable readings with superimposed AC (NMRR typical 120 dB) and spikes.
