Paramount Machine Tools offers Mechanical Press Brakes, type 2500PBP4. Salient features: rigid, robust all steel frame construction to avoid deflection and breakage; gears and pinions of drive systems are made from special castings and carbon steel respectively; the twin drive system provided gives a balanced transmission of torque on the eccentrics; pneumatic clutch and brake is standard on higher capacity press brakes; no adjustment is necessary for lining wear, friction clutch provided on smaller machines and these can be operated as slow as desired; electrical controls conveniently positioned on the machine offer `inch’ `once’ or continuous operation; motorised ram adjustment provided with higher models; micro switch provided to avoid any possibility of jamming; ram provided with a `H’ beam stiffness; shot lubrication provided to lubricate all vital parts; and gang punching of holes possible – special bolsters can be provided. Standard accessories: one die with 5 grooves, one V-shaped bending punch, one back gauge and electricals. Optional accessories: goose neck bending punch, hardened ground die and bending punch, etc.
