Precision Universal Vice
Jyothi universal vice is a precision vice, operative in all three planes, and can be set at any compound angle easily, accurately and quickly. It is a very useful accessory for tool and cutter grinder, driller machines and small milling units. All parts are accurately machined and jaws are made of tool steel, hardened and ground. Graduations in degrees are provided in all three planes. Specifications: work piece admittance – 70 mm; width of jaws – 100 mm; swivelling in horizontal plane – 360°; swivelling in vertical plane – 180°; total height – 163 mm; tenon slots – 12 mm; depth of jaws – 25 mm; parallelity with respect to jaws – 0.02 mm; and minimum angle that can be set – 1°.
