Shabari Heaters & Controls is a manufacturer of Precise Thermostats, fire detectors, heaters, thermocouples, PT 100 sensors, and spares for pharmaceutical machines. These products are used in blister machines, strip machines, etc. Thermostats are also used in: railway locomotives, hydraulic laminating presses, label adhesive applicators, deep fat cookers, vending machines, milk pasteurises, overheat detectors, plastic moulding, canning equipment, baking ovens, fire alarms, etc. Operating principle: Shabari make thermostats are strut and tube type, comprising of two basic parts: (a) The outer shell made of high expanding metal; and (b) The strut assembly made of low expanding metal. A pair of electrical contacts is mounted on the strut assembly and installed in the shell under tension or compression. Because each end of the strut assembly is mechanically connected to the ends of the shell, a net change in force is produced on the low expansion strut assembly as the high expanding shell expands or contacts with changing temperature. The temperature at which the contacts make or break can be regulated. The range of these thermostats is available from 0 to 300°C with an accuracy of plus/minus 0.1 degree.
