Shree Venus Energy System offers a range of PP Expansion Fasteners. These are suitable for concrete, lightweight concrete, natural stones, solid blocks, perforated bricks, hollow blocks, aircrete, load-bearing plaster, etc., for flexible and pressure-resistant insulants in board or strip form, e.g., rock wool, glass wool, polystyrene, polyurethane, foam glass, wood-wool building slabs, coconut matting, cork, etc. With a drilling diameter only 9 mm, pre-mounted element, impact-resistant polypropylene stem and disc can be easily pushed through insulation without sagging. Features: high load-bearing capacity with comparatively simple hammer installation; good plaster adhesion through open-web disc for higher load requirements, e.g., due to subsequent rendering or plastering (fibrous plaster); not suitable for thin plaster cover because of the low thickness of the disc; high bending strength provided by electroplated steel nails; and the flexible ribs in the plate enable durable contact pressure of the insulant against the substrate, the fixing is simply tapped into 9 mm drill-hole. It achieves its anchoring effect through the friction grip of the plastic when expanding while fixing the nail into that. Installation instructions: recommendation: at least 5 fixings per sq.m of insulant. Technical data: drill diameter – 9 mm; fixing length – 85 mm; maximum effective working length – 45 mm; min drill-hole depth for through fixings – 85 mm; min anchorage depth – 40 mm; and max fixing thickness – 50 mm.
