Not only can the molecular birefringent flow lines (frings) be seen in colour but the black isoclinic lines are visible when the preform axis are parallel to the polarizing axis of the viewer. The equipment is built on a rigid metallic base plate and finished in Autumn Gray & Blue combination painting and bright chrome/zinc plating to give it a corrosion resistant finish.
