The Pneumatic Conveying System is the most versatile and speedy method of transferring bulk material from one point to another within a defined area. The two main methods involved are either pressure or vacuum conveying. The selection of the method depends on the type of material, its characteristics, distances involved and environmental attributes.
The systems are designed for specific applications like conveying of cement in cement plants; conveying of grains, sugars in food, sugar & confectionery industries; conveying of sensitive bulk drug powders in pharmaceutical industries, etc.
The material of construction can be offered to suit the bulk to be handled. Anti-static flexible hoses are used for flexibility. Filter bags of appropriate synthetic fabric are employed. Reliable quality of instrumentation involves sensors, actuators, timers, temperature controls and PLC.
