Jandia Engineering offers Jancy Plate and Pipe Bevelling Machines. Bevelling means preparation of the welding surfaces in the metal plate edges before welding operation is done. It is a rule that if bevelling is not done on the surface properly then the welding cannot be done properly and cannot pass the leak and strength test. Conventional bevelling is done with the usage of sand grinding. In case, the plates are big, the bevelling cannot be performed up to the satisfactory level. So, clamping of the plate by welding cannot be effected. Gas cutting is considered a favourite operation which has its own advantages, such as: conventional heating method does not ensure proper bevelling edge; need skilled manpower; using some does not ensure perfect shape; and sander machine means a motor and starter which has to be maintained when the machine is in operation.
