Ambica Cranes is one of India’s leading manufacturers of cranes, hoists and goods lifts. The company offers a range of Planetary Gearboxes (Crane Micro Drives). The special micro drive provides fine inching movements of trolley, hoist or crane at the rate of 5% of 20% of the main speed. The micro drive is achieved by a separate gearbox, with unique sun and planet system. Gearing system is fitted on the input side of main gear unit and pony motor with separate brake unit. It is a positive drive and avoids the use of clutches, etc (optional). The company’s manufacturing range includes: EOT cranes double girder up to 100 tonnes capacity; EOT cranes single girder up to 15 tonnes capacity; goliath cranes, semi goliath cranes and wire rope hoists up to 15 tonnes capacity; foot mounted hoists, dual speed hoists, high speed hoists, flame proof hoists and hoists with operators cabin; jib cranes, cage lifts (goods lifts), HOT cranes; hoisting gearboxes, wheel assemblies, heavy and light fabrication as per drawing; and floor travelling trolley up to 50 tonnes capacity.
