Pit Furnaces
Kanthal Sandvik offers Pit Furnaces. These furnaces are widely used for heat treatment and nonferrous melting at metallurgical laboratories and different industries. Two categories are: PHTF for temperature up to 1400ºC; PSTF for temperature up to 1800ºC. Salient features: rigid construction; fume vent; thyristorised control; removal port at bottom; trolley mounted for easy movement; low skin temperature. Optional features: three numbers of thermocouple at upper, middle and bottom; forced exhaust of fumes by fan; metallic or ceramic pot; and tilting facility. Melting furnaces can be made tilting type for the ease of operation.
