alStrut, the term coined to indicate aluminium struts, offers a wide range of profile with high dimension precision that can be used for building different types of structures. Standardisation in the design of the alStrut profiles, supplemented with a wide range of accessories facilitates quick assembly of a variety of structures. The surface of alStrut profiles has been specially anodised to minimise scratches, eliminating the need for surface finishing on completion of assembly. The Pipe Racking Division of alStrut consists of steel tubes that could be plastic or powder coated, as well as stainless steel and electrically conductive (ESD) in nature. These tubes are available in varying dimensions (wall thickness 0.7-2 mm; and diameter 28-32 mm) and different colours. In order to complete the system, connectors and accessories can be chosen from the wide range available, including wheels, levelling feet, roller tracks, fasteners, mounting brackets etc. Installation, modification and extension of the system are very simple due to the reusable nature of the components thus giving the flexibility of design and change.
