The rigid frame and precision cutting head makes the Porta cutter the most reliable tool of its kind in the market. "PIPE CUTTING & BEVELLING MACHINE. It allows cutting into a line without access to an open end. The Porta-Cutter frame and gear are split so that they may be scissored open, then closed, and locked around a line. The cutter is ruggedly designed for simple operation with high quality performance. All machines, except the smallest feature automatic clamping and centering to help ensure a consistently high quality cut and bevel finish. Porta-Cutter simultaneously cuts and bevels pipes to provide ideal service for pipe welding. An automatic out-of-round compensating feature permits the tool to follow the contour of the pipe, even when there is ovality present. Porta-Cutter is available in pneumatic or hydraulic drive option.
