Alpine"s Model 200 LS N particle size analyser comes with an automatic weighing and print out facility and also with software to link to a PC. This sturdy and accurate particle size analyser for all powders from 30 microns to 1 mm is used in over 40,000 locations worldwide and some 50 in India, for accurate reliable use in analysis of powders. An Alpine 200 LS N print out is equally acceptable to the buyer and seller of powders a solution to the disputes arising between them, also inter departmental supply of powders in big establishments. Also available is an on line particle size analyser, a joint development by Malvern Dry Laser Analyser for monitoring powder particle sizes from the production line and an Alpine Control System which takes over the data from the laser analyser and automatically adjusts the mill/classifier to bring back the particle size to the required level, if any, when a variation takes place. This system ensures that with the minimum loss of time and material, the pre set particle size in microns is maintained. This system is used in the cement, pharma and so on in Europe very effectively.
