Jost’s Engineering Company offers an electric operated stand-on Pallet Truck, Model ERE 20/30. This is a low level pallet truck for flexible application as pedestrian or stand-on truck, and optimally adjusts to any application by simply folding the platform down or up. Best example: lorry loading and offloading. The stand-on platform provides excellent comfort and safety: the cushioning manifestly “swallows†all bumps on rough surface and threshold. Emergency stop buttons provide maximum safety for the operator. The drive is provided by a powerful 0.9/1.5 kW high performance series wound highly efficient motor having 1 hr rating with high overload capacity, low noise, high ratio 2 stage gear unit. It is controlled by a microprocessor based logic Msofet stepless, programmable controller for smooth control of speed and acceleration via drive switch. It also helps in obtaining fault diagnostic information quickly and easily. The chassis is of robust construction and the stable 5 point contact design permits high residual capacities. The rounded enclosed contours permits safe manoeuvring in confined spaces. All wheels are made of polyurethane tyres as standard. Steering is via control handle either in ride-on or pedestrian mode. Steering lock is 90º on either side. The handle complies with safety regulation. Robust steel fabricated forks are available in various lengths. The electro-magnetic disc brake, hard wearing and asbestos free brakes become operational when handle is in the vertical or horizontal position with simultaneous power cut-off. For manoeuvring in confined spaces with the handle in upright position crawl speed may be activated. During this the brake is released automatically and travel is possible at reduced speed. Battery: 24 V, 195 or 330 AH traction battery.
