Oil Skimmer

Amba Engineering Works has developed cost effective disc type Oil Skimmers for removing floating tramp oil from machine tool coolant tank. The disc driven by double reduction worm geared motor and the disc is partially submerged in the soluble coolant. As it rotates, the disk picks up tramp oil from the coolant surface. The disc turns past a scraper, which removes the oil from the disc. The oil skimmers are available in 300 and 500 mm disc sizes. Other specialities of the company are: duplex surface grinder machines, super finishing machines for all types of bearings and other machine parts, hydraulic grease filling machines, hydraulic tarring machines, and semi-automatic electrolytic marking machines.
