Oil Filtration Plants purify and upgrade transformer oil to comply with standard specifications. These plants can be designed as per customer’s specifications and are also available in varying capacities covering a whole range of applications in low, high and extra high voltage equipments.
They perform the following functions:
- Removal of suspended impurities such as dust, rust, scales, colloidal carbon oxidation sludge, etc. up to < 1 micron.
- Degassing and Dehydration of transformer oil with vacuum
- Circulation of heated oil and filling of treated oil in transformer tank
- Prevention of acid formation by evaporation and adsorption method
