Fluke Corporation has introduced Models 87 and 89 Series IV digital multimeters, designed with the most advanced features. They boast 0.025% accuracy and 50,000 counts of resolution on a multiple reading display that includes a real time clock, enhancing troubleshootifrg with the ability to correlate time of day with events. Model 89 Series IV can store up to 1,000 measurements in standalone operation, allowing a user to log data based on events, time or manually. All measurements are available for later viewing on the meters' display. It provides additional functionality with an optional software, enabling the user to maximize the logging capability by using templates to create custom reports. This software is ideal for documenting test procedures for new equipment installation, meeting the demands of a regulating agency or tracking maintenance histories. These multimeters measure voltage, current, resistance and capacitance, temperature in ?C and ?F, continuity and have a diode test function. In addition to relative mode and min/max/average, the meters offer a 250 ms fast/min/max for capturing peak transients. Closed case calibration feature allows calibration adjustments to be made directly from the front panel or through the infrared port. These multimeters have a bright two level LED back lights as well as an enhanced LCD with larger digits and a wide viewing angle.
