Tuflite multi-wall polycarbonate sheets are an excellent glazing material with remarkable properties making them the ideal choice for light transmitting constructions in the industrial, commercial, domestic and leisure segments. Some of these unique qualities are: high impact strength – Tuflite multi-wall PC sheets have very high impact strength (over 200 times the impact strength of glass and over 8 times the impact strength of FRP and acrylic); UV protection – prevent transmission of the harmful UV rays, thereby preventing fading of the interiors. They also do not deteriorate over a period of time; virtually maintenance free – virtually maintenance free, requiring only periodic cleaning with water/a moist cloth; ease of installation – very easy to install because they are very light and easy to handle; high durability – very durable and long lasting by virtue of their high impact strength and UV protection; optimum light transmission – provide optimal light transmission (ranging from 48% to 84%); and versatile – can easily be cold bent at site (with a minimum radius of curvature 175 times the sheet thickness), making them the ideal choice for all types of structures, including barrel vaults, domes, etc.
